After a wet year of truck farming in 2021 we integrated some market gardening strategies.

Ground cloth, greenhouses, and floating row cover were new to us but we had to get more resilient. As you can see it has been an incredibly diverse operation for many years, but this was the year it really changed. Butcher hogs on grass, grass-finished steers, large plantings of sweet potatoes, irrigation lakes, and tobacco setters don’t usually cross paths with these newer farming practices but with every one of these elements plays a role in the operation.
